June 12, 2026Alisa was outstanding. We hired to her to play for my wife's birthday party and she was thoroughly enjoyed by our guests. She played from our front porch on a hot day in June. During that morning some other party plans started to go off track. My wife was excited when she arrived and she commented to her that she was one of the best things happening for the party. She arrived promptly, set up her harp and played her set wonderfully. No fuss, no muss. Very professional and very pleasant. She was accommodating to requests though most of the guests just enjoyed watching her and listening to her play. Hiring Alisa as a harpist was a great decision which also added elegance and sophistication to the party.

Alisa Bekebrede joined the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra as Principal Harpist in 2011 and established an active performing and teaching career in Little Rock, Arkansas. She currently serves the Baltimore region. In addition to performing with ensembles throughout the MidSouth region, such as Shreveport Symphony Orchestra, Iris Collective, and Louisiana Philharmonic, Alisa teaches out of her home studio and is Suzuki trained. Alisa graduated with a Master's of Music from Temple University. She received her Bachelor's of Music and Performance Diploma from the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto, ON. She is graduating from University of North Texas in Spring 2026 with a Doctorate of Musical Arts.
