Aliens in Public is a rock band covering the rock music of mainly the 90s and 2000s. Some of the songs we play are by bands such as Green Day, Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Stone Temple Pilots, Seven Mary Three, 3 Doors Down, Seether, and Alice In Chains. We generally play three sets with 15 minute breaks. (4 hours total, normally about 50 songs all about 3-4 minutes). We play most songs true to form from the studio albums with no long "jams" so that the customer can have exposure to as much of our catalogue as possible. Setup is generally 75 minutes and breakdown about 30 minutes. We bring our own PA system. None of us smoke.
Aliens in Public formed in the fall of 2017 by several area professionals to play the music we grew to love. Every song on our extensive setlist was carefully chosen to represent our favorite songs from the late 1980's until the mid 2000's. Our central hub is Gray, Maine.
We have no general requirements. We bring our own sound system and have limited lighting to setup. We are four piece band (bass, guitar, guitar/vocals, drums) with compact sound system and a standard 5 piece drum set.
