When you hire The GemsTones for a performance, you should expect high energy, vintage sounding, music that is perfect to dance to from a group of guys dressed in perfectly color coordinated retro attire. We always bring our A-game to every performance, and have yet to have an establishment not want to hire us back. We provide nostalgic music for all ages that not only makes you feel good, but makes you feel lively and want to get movin' and groovin'

We are: The GemsTones! A youthful 4-piece Retro-Rock & ‘Nostalgabilly’ band performing a mix of oldies-inspired originals and retro classics. Specializing in hits from America’s decade the 1950s, and beyond going through the decades up to the early 2000s.

What is Nostalgabilly?
A musical genre – much like rockabilly, that combines elements of (but is not limited to) early rock n’ roll, country, swing, rhythm and blues, and jazz music – that taps into that retro sound from decades past to evoke a feeling of nostalgia for days long gone, even if you weren’t there to specifically live them yourself.

The GemsTones were founded by brothers Josef Nocera (Rockin' Ruby) and Hunter Germaine (Angsty Amethyst) in 2022 and have been playing northern Massachusetts and southern New Hampshire, with a gradually growing reach into other parts of New England.

We take influence from such acts, such as: Elvis Presley, Chuck Berry, The Beatles, Johnny Cash, Paul Simon, Bob Dylan, Tom Petty, Smash Mouth, Jackson Browne, and so much more! All of which is evident in the way we bring so much love and life to our original songs as well as covers.

We do require that an adequate power supply is made available that can handle the load of a full band drawing power.

If your event is outside, we do require coverage be provided as well as solid level ground or stage to set up on. In the event of rain, a back up in doors option must be made available or flexibility to reschedule due to rain.

We provide our own PAs and sound mixer.

We do require you to provide any lighting.
