She is so passionate about her craft, and the love she has for it shines through in her performances. Our guests still talk about her dancing a year later. Alice is professional and deeply kind, and was incredibly easy to coordinate with. I would highly recommend her to anyone thinking about it!

She is a shape-shifter as her acts can be combined with Oriental dance (Bellydance), Classical Indian fusion and Burlesque fusion, all can be turned into a fire performance as an add-on. According to the duration, here are some options to choose from which can be customized to align with your vision.
Types of performances to choose from:
- Bellydance performance, perfect for bachelorette parties, birthdays and baby showers. Mini-Class can be an interactive add-on for a more immersive experience.
- Fire Show (multiple 3-5 min sets)
Show with a variety of fire props such as Palm Torches with Fire Headdress, Fire Sword and Fire Fans.
- Show with a variety of LED props such as Isis wings, Poi, Hoop, Fans and Staff (Corporate events can have their company logo programmed into the lights). This is perfect for non-fire enclosed spaces or "Glow in the Dark" parties.
Alice wants your event to be memorable! She is happy to help you plan all the details of the performance - coordinating costume colors, special songs, guests to dance with, props, etc.
Monisha, an artist at heart, was born in Washington and raised in Bangladesh, where she immersed herself in the traditional dance of her roots. Her upbringing involved cross-training in Classical Indian Dance forms, including Bharatanatyam from Tamil Nadu, Kathak from Northern India, and Odissi from Odisha.
During her formative teenage years, she delved into the world of fire-dancing, exploring props such as poi and fans. In her later years as an adult she started to combine these elements together with the dance of the Orient, most popularly known as Bellydance. This organic evolution in her movement journey, influenced by diverse and culturally rich backgrounds, birth performances that defy convention.
Adopting the name Alice as her alter persona, she endeavors to be a bridge between the East and the West. In a realm saturated with fusion dancers causing more "confusion" than "fusion," what distinguishes Alice is her solid foundation in each style individually. This approach adds profound depth and authenticity to her dance, preserving the integrity of the cultures from which her unique style has taken shape.
