Can provide music all occasions as a solo cellist and pianist, with an accompanist, or arrange a string quartet, trio, or duo with regular colleagues. I perform with the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra, the Little Rock String Quartet, the Arkansas Repertory Theater, and many local orchestras. I hold a Bachelor of Music in Cello Performance as well as an Artist Diploma (Graduate Certificate) from the University of Central Arkansas. I also did graduate study as the principal cellist at the University of New Mexico. I'm a pianist for numerous churches throughout Arkansas, maintain a private teaching studio, and pursue a hobby in old-time fiddling.

January 5, 2026Mr. Semen organized a string quartet for a private birthday party for my 80-year-old father. I gave general directions on the type of music with three specific songs. Mr. Semen and his group were spot on with their selections. Everyone enjoyed listening to them as we visited and had dinner together. The best part was when the quartet invited my dad, who plays the clarinet, to play along on a favorite piece of his: Amazing Grace. This group is professional not only in their beautiful-sounding performance but also in their punctuality, dress, and manners. My dad was moved to tears as was I. I highly recommend Mr. Semen for your next event!

June 16, 2025ABSOLUTELY AMAZING PERFORMANCE.
Was supposed to be outside and center stage but rain put them in entry was but in another room from party. We could still heart great.
Acoustic was on point and the talent was absolutely freaking amazing.
The entire party, every single one kept talking and raving about how amazing the performance was
I can't even say enough good things
It was beyond expectations
Even with the hiccup in the weather and the venue being moved, they just went with it and made it turn out absolutely beautiful and wonderfully perfect
So so thankful and also humbled by the absolutely Amazing and beautiful talent 🔥 💫
