About
Alex Vale (they/them) is a dark humor writer and digital nomad, notorious for photobombing vacation pics and accidentally relocating to new countries since 1977. Raised by wolves, fairies, and unsuspecting neighbors in central Maine, Alex probably kickstarted their comedy journey by rage-quitting recorder lessons in the 3rd grade. Psychologists argue that this early act of rebellion set off a checkered career as a band front-person, author, gravestone designer, theme park caricature artist, award-winning animation producer, app developer, and now, stand-up comedian.
Today, Alex can be found speaking at universities, comedy open mics, and random all-you-can-eat Taco Tuesday joints—wherever it's legal. A live show with Alex is an adventurous rabbit hole of puns and tales on nonbinary life, AI, travel, design, and the anxieties of human interaction. They've opened for headliners like Brendan Eyre, Rob Stant, and Bailey Pope. Every month, Alex drops new merch, clips, comic panels, and writing at (link hidden).
And, as legend has it, on full moons, they sprout a unicorn horn and smell like SweetTarts.
