February 22, 2026I hired Alex to host a trivia night for my birthday and he did an excellent job!! He was able to make the whole room laugh while being professional AND attending to everyone’s needs. We had a group of 30-40 people and the event lasted two hours and time flew. I would highly recommend him for any event where you need an emcee that can reliably engage a group for extended period of time.

February 18, 2026Rarely do you get the full package; but Alex is the most professional, kind, and hilariously funny comedian/ producer I've ever met! We worked together on his 'Abnormal Nights' shows at the Adams Avenue Theater for over a year, and it was a pleasure. He's as good as it gets, from a show producer to the talent himself - I highly recommend him for any event!

February 17, 2026I hired Alex to produce a comedy show for our company’s holiday party. He brought along three comedians and absolutely put on a phenomenal show. He then coordinated and emceed the Secret Santa portion of our event, as well as zinging everyone in the room with some pretty good roasts. I'd hire him again in a heartbeat, and will definitely have him back at our holiday party again this year!

February 17, 2026I hired Alex 6 years ago to produce a comedy show for my venue. Six years later, it's the biggest monthly show in San Diego. He is excellent at booking talent and performing MC duties but is also a hilarious comedian in his own right. Alex Petit is a San Diego-based stand-up comic and is the host and producer of San Diego’s two largest monthly independent comedy shows, Duck Foot Comedy Night and Abnormal Nights Comedy. He also produces and hosts the Red Room Comedy Show at Red Tracton’s in Del Mar, and at Mic Drop Comedy he presides over the Roast Wars, Once Upon a Mic shows, and is the lead instructor of the Comedy for Kids Class. He has been performing stand-up comedy in San Diego for over eight years and can be seen regularly at Mic Drop Comedy, The La Jolla Comedy Store, The Laugh Factory, Mad House Comedy Club, American Comedy Company, and Mockingbird Improv.
