Alex Escot Tortosa (Lloret de Mar, August 23, 2005) is a Flamenco singer and songwriter.

Catalan by birth, born in the coastal town of Lloret de Mar but Andalusian roots of Pruna (Seville) and Villanueva del Arzobispo (Jaén). In the bosom of a family of Andalusian emigrants.

When he was only 4 years old he started to learn Flamenco by ear, all thanks to his grandmother Carmen who at that young age took him to a street market where they sold music of various musical styles, but the first thing that little Alex bought was the music of Manolo Escobar, Los Chichos and more artists that have formed him to what this young man is today.

The world of flamenco singing began to attract him more in his adolescence, at the age of 12 years, also added to the idea of composing thanks to his idol, also friend Ricardo Gabarre, better known as ''Junco'' who pushed him with his emotional support to enter this world.

In the tragic year 2020, Alex Escot begins to compose ''Aún Sigues En El Recuerdo'' the album that changes his career completely between 2021 when he would begin to release the respective Singles of the same and on April 29th, 2022 when after a long wait he would release his first LP.

This full album has eight tracks, six of them written and composed entirely by himself, plus two of them composed by two other great artists. One of them, ''Ingobernable'' composed and written by the great author from Madrid Antón Alvarez better known as C. Tangana and the third of the album ''Ay, Humanidad!'' whose lyrics are written by his great friend Carmelo Marín Reyes from Seville. The CD, Pendrive and digital format is a sales smash.

In the record work there are also those who for them in the summer of 2021 their success impacts stronger with the first two singles of ''Aún Sigues En El Recuerdo'' which were ''Tú Fuiste Mala'' and ''Lourdes, La Fuerte'', both with Videoclips that swept of success on Youtube and platforms especially the latter that today between all platforms adds more than 300,000 reproductions.

We are after all in the year 2023, a year of good and great changes in the career of Alex Escot, when after a great development and time soaking in a lot of ''cante'' premieres the tour 2023 of his latest work accompanied by great musicians like Tati Amaya, Miranda Fernandez and Dany Cubero.

Along with this, he also begins with the creative process and think about a next album, which still do not put a title or face, but there it is in the air waiting. A project that is very different from the previous one, with another vision and another approach, more ambitious, more ''jondo'', more multifaceted and where he will fight to bring much more the Flamenco jondo to the youth together with great instrumentalists of world class.
