These guys know how to keep the party going!! Great set list for singing and dancing. You won't get a chance to take a break until the band does! Very engaging with the crowd as well and really appreciative of other musicians who come out to catch the shows, even allowing them to sit in on a song or two! Won't find many bands that will show that much class. They certainly deliver on ALL PARTY ALL ROCK ALL THE TIME!! Really looking forward to catching their next show on June 16th. It's a guaranteed rockin good time!!!
My husband, neighbor friends and I went to a gig in downtown Raleigh to see Aftershock and had THE BEST time! We love all the hair band covers, and Aftershock truly does them all justice. If you haven't gone to see them, you MUST!!!
The musicians of Aftershock are phenomenally talented and should be highly considered for any event. What I witnessed as a working vendor on a wedding day with them was young and old, they had everyone on the dance floor.
They play some amazing covers that take you right back to the 80's.....some songs you even forgot how much you loved them. We heard it all: Van Halen, Pat Benatar, & Aerosmith to name few.
I'm convinced this band can perform anything exceptionally! They're sensitive to the crowd, know when to turn it up, & make a party happen. Highly recommend Aftershock as a band for any FUN occasion!

Born and raised on the mean streets of Milford, CT, Gary Frost started singing Beatles and Billy Joel songs at family get togethers at the age of 8. He honed his craft in the back seat of a Dodge Omni singing harmonies with Mom and Dad on road trips all over New England.
Succumbing to the influence of ill-tempered teammates and classmates he began to gravitate towards heavier rock music around 12 or 13. Gary spent most nights in high school singing in a band covering songs from Zeppelin and Sabbath & eventually heavier songs from bands like Iron Maiden and Metallica. Alice in Chains, Soundgarden and Pearl Jam, along with grunge in general, influenced the band in the early 90's.
After recording 8 original songs, college, jobs and marriage brought things to a close. Gary hooked up with a working cover band in CT in the late 90's, and in 2006 he packed up his 3 beautiful little girls and smoking hot wife and moved to NC. After searching for the right fit in the Raleigh area he hooked up with the boys in Aftershock and looks forward to rocking your face off.
Jeremy "JD" Davis
Jeremy "JD" Davis cut his teeth playing drums in the pre‐grunge Seattle‐area scene. He has played various styles of music since 1985 ranging from orchestral percussion to jazz to pop to 80's hair metal ‐ a genre he still holds close to his heart. Influences include Tico Torres (Bon Jovi) and Rod Morgenstein (Winger, Dixie Dregs) as well as singing drummers Don Henley (Eagles) and Phil Collins (Genesis).
In 2006 JD took his passion for 80’s rock and founded Aftershock. He also currently plays in the cover band Blackstrap Molasses with McCorkell & Miller, and played with the party pop cover band Cherry.
When he's not playing music you can find JD at his "day job" at Cisco Systems, out in the local music scene appreciating other area bands or hanging out with his amazing family.
Lead Guitar, Vocals
As an Air Force brat, Todd Miller traveled throughout the US and Europe, landing in Fayetteville, North Carolina at the age of fifteen. There he started playing guitar in bands and doing a few little theatre gigs. Miller then spent the next twenty years gigging, recording, and teaching guitar in the Charlotte area. He has played in numerous bands throughout the years, including Cherry Bomb, Daddy Blue, Colorblind, Cry Uncle, Cookie, Blind Taxi, and a few dozen others.
Guitarists Miller is a big fan of include Jeff Beck, Eddie Van Halen, and Steve Morse. Favorite songwriters and bands include The Beatles, the Who, Prince and Stevie Wonder.
These days Miller spends his days teaching music, and his nights torturing his wife, his two children, and his band mates.
Bass Guitar, Vocals
Originally from the Philadelphia area, Richard McCorkell has been performing as a multi-instrumentalists for quite some time on both regional and national levels. The bass has been his latest interest and seems to be his most enjoyable. The aspect of both rhythm and the role of the bass guitar appeals to him greatly. Rich is not only a live performer, but also composes and records out of his project studio, RELUCTANT ICON for various professional and artistic projects.
The move down to the Raleigh music scene has brought many rewarding opportunities. You can check out his work and efforts at (link hidden)
