What to expect

The stage is my sanctuary so when I get up there something takes over and I dance till I can’t breath. This is who I am and once I commit I dive a 1000%

You will see culture, passion, drive and so much love for what I do.

About

Danaite is an Afro dancer/Choreographer based out of California. She started doing and mimicking traditional and Hiphop dance styles at a very young age. After her mother’s passing she continued to grow more and more love and attachment for dance.

At the age of 15 Danaite was adopted by her aunt and moved to Santa Rosa, CA, United States of America. She joined Maria Carrillo high school where she got the opportunity to work closely with the dance director by helping organize shows, choreographing and teaching. She then graduated MCHS and started diving into college level dancing. She was selected to be a choreographer for the annual production all 4 years. She created pieces in styles such as Hiphop, reggaeton, Afro, Bollywood and more.

In 2014 she joined Auxiliary where she became a lead choreographer for dance competitions, shows and performances. She stayed in this team for 4 years studying all about Hiphop and Street dance styles. She then moved on to create her own team.

In 2017 Danaite created Dynasty dance Crew. A female dance group in Santa Rosa. After taking the role of leadership, she learned a lot by failing, succeeding and everything in between. This team still continues to perform for big and small events all around the Bay Area as well as outside.

Now Danaite continues to learn about and spread the history and culture of Afro Dance and hope to someday travel and learn more by inspiring the whole world to do the same along the way.
