I'm a versatile singer with a strong, soulful sound. I spent the better part of my childhood (10+ years) singing in my church choir. Into adulthood, I have moved away from gospel, but never my roots! Rhythm & Blues is a staple in my house, but I also enjoy Pop, Rock, Hip-Hop, Rap, and a lil country. My decade range is generally 1990s to Current, but I can also do music recorded pre-1990 ( Teddy P., Ottis Redding, Aretha Franklin, Chaka, etc). I am 36 years young and the proud mother of 2 beautiful children. I have been singing for at least the last 29 years and can honestly say that, next to writing, it's the one thing I'd LOVE to spend my life doing. I've tried college for Psychology and Business Administration, but life keeps bringing me back to music.
I grew up as the youngest grandchild in a musical family that has its roots in the church. My mother was a songbird, and it is thanks to her that my love of song blossomed and grew.
As a solo artist, I come equipped with voice, music (instrumentals) and attitude. Props and tools (Mic, speakers, etc), Live music (i.e. Band) provided at Bookers' expense.

My love for music originated with my mother, so her generation is what first inspired me. Artists such as Marvin Gaye, Teddy Pendergrass, Aretha Franklin, The Chi-Lites, Blue Magic, The Four Tops, The Temptations, and Al Green (who was a major musical force in our house) are the staple of my musical portfolio.
Naturally, I was also heavily influenced by the more modern era: Jodeci, Monica, Brandy, Angela Winbush, Boys II Men, Babyface, Mary J. Blige, Faith Evans, Whitney Houston, Aaliyah, Maxwell, SWV, Xscape, etc.
