Once hired, a typical perfromance would be myself performing what has been agreed upon, as well as meet and greet where guest can interact with myself and pictures can be taken before and after performance.
Kevin Mimms is a versatile dancer and aerialist whose career spans international stages, cruise lines, and theatrical productions. With a B.A. in Dance from Marymount Manhattan College, Kevin trained extensively in ballet, jazz, modern, pointe, and partnering under renowned instructors, honing both technical precision and artistic expression.
They have performed with Norwegian Cruise Line, Carnival Cruise Line, Cunard Line, and Regent Seven Seas, captivating audiences as both a dancer and aerialist. Kevin’s stage credits include After Midnight aboard the Norwegian Escape, Nutcracker Suit and Spice at the Aetna Theater, and headlining Queens For A Cause with Leg Up On Life. Their aerial artistry has been featured in acclaimed productions such as Let Them Eat Cupcakes and Lust Caution at Brooklyn Art Haus and The Red Pavilion.
Equipped with certifications in aerial apparatuses including hoop, silks, trapeze, rope, straps, and aerial pole, Kevin combines strength, artistry, and theatricality in every performance. Their skill set also extends to pointe, heels, ballroom and Latin dance, and even stage combat—demonstrating adaptability across genres and styles.

Rigging & Structural Support
Secure rigging point(s) capable of supporting dynamic loads (minimum 1,000–2,000 lbs depending on apparatus and act).
Certified structural engineer or professional rigger to confirm load-bearing capacity.
Appropriate ceiling height (minimum 15–20 ft; higher preferred for silks, trapeze, and rope acts).
Access to rigging hardware (beam clamps, carabiners, swivels, spansets, rescue lines).
Ground anchor points if needed (for tension-based apparatus or counterweight systems).
Safety Measures
Professional rigger to install, inspect, and strike rigging.
Fall zone clear of obstructions, with safety mats if venue conditions require.
Compliance with OSHA and venue safety standards.
Emergency plan and first aid/EMT presence on-site (recommended for larger events).
Space Requirements
Clear floor space beneath the performance area (at least 10 ft radius).
Minimum ceiling clearance for apparatus (varies: 18–25 ft recommended for silks; 12–15 ft minimum for hoop/pole/straps).
Ability to black out or light the aerialist properly without rigging interference.
Lighting & Sound
Stage or spotlighting adequate to highlight aerial performance.
