"Adam Marris, an Aerial Straps artist, who performs with an engineer's integrity and dependability. Whether he is working solo or in an ensemble setting, he brings a sensitively rugged steadfastness in stability while teetering on the edge of the wild."
I can provide anything from ambient stilt walking to a full cast and show. My primary solo apparatus is Aerial Straps. If you are looking for something specific for your event please let me know! I will be happy to help create what is needed.

Width: 25’/7.6 meters
Depth: 25’/7.6 meters
Ceiling: 15’/4.5 meters Note: This ceiling height is completely unobstructed with nothing hanging down.
This act is to be performed indoors. If the act is desired outdoors, a free standing rig will be required and the stage must be dry. If it is deemed the stage is unsafe by the performer due to weather conditions, they have the right to cancel the performance.
Sound
Sound system is provided and rigged by the organizer.
The PA system must play MP3 files or connect to an MP3 player (Phone or Ipod). The sound system should be suitable for the size of the space and audience.
A sound check is required before the performance.
Light
Lighting is provided and rigged by the organizer.
It is suggested that the client hire a professional lighting company to make the most of the performance and draw attention to the show. It will be necessary for the performers to rehearse the act with the lighting as it will be in the show.
At very minimum the artist needs to be lit from the floor to the ceiling.
Rigging
The location in which the presentation will occur must be equipped with an accessible structure with a working load of a minimum of 2000 lbs (915kg).
The minimum height of the rigging point is 14 feet with a maximum of 25 feet.
A 10-foot radius from the rigging point to the ground should be unencumbered for the safety of the performer. It is recommended that a visual device such as a carpet or rope barrier be placed under the performance area to deter guests from walking too close to the performer.
The client must provide safe access to the rigging point (ladder or hydraulic lift) the day of load-in/rigging. If the event requires a free standing rig, it will be necessary to have two stage hands to assist with the assembly and disassembly of the rig.
In the event that the performer is not allowed to rig his own equipment it is required that the performer be able to supervise the installation of the rigging or visually verify the rigging. If the performer does not feel comfortable with the in house riggers work, the performer maintains the right to not perform.
It is required that removing the rigging be disassembled immediately following the show.
Arrival
Upon arrival the performer will need to be met by a host. The performer should be shown around the space, the dressing rooms, the stage and any other important locations within the building.
Before Show
The performer should have 45 minutes to warm up and prepare for their act. Bottles of water should be available in the dressing room for warm up.
After Show
If the load in, performance and load out expanse more than four hours and/or go through meal time, the performer should be allowed to eat what the guests are being served at the event. Any food allergies or restrictions should be accounted for in the meal.
Dressing Room
A room should be available to change into costume, stretch and warm up prior to the performance. The temperature of the room should be between 68°F and 72°F. The artist should have access to restrooms backstage as well as drinking water.
Contract
This rider is a part of the contract for the performance. No part of this rider will be changed unless written approval has been given. If this rider is not successfully followed the performance can be cancelled with full pay. If it is not possible to meet the requirements of this rider fully, it is the organizers responsibility to get written approval of the changes BEFORE the contract is signed.
