Adrian Miranda is a New York City–based speaker, writer, and facilitator whose work focuses on helping people begin creative work without pressure, hype, or the expectation of immediate success.

Trained originally as a physical therapist, Adrian spent years balancing a full professional career alongside a quiet pull toward creative work. Rather than making a single dramatic leap, he slowly built projects through small, intentional containers learning firsthand why beginnings often feel harder than execution, especially for people with responsibilities, reputations, and full lives.

Through Gross Anatomy Studios, Adrian has created intimate films, live performances, and experimental storytelling projects that explore identity, work, and the human body. Through Uptown Actors, he has supported first-time and community-based creators in developing small, sustainable projects while maintaining careers outside the arts.

Adrian’s speaking work grew organically from these experiences. Audiences consistently responded less to techniques or inspiration and more to conversations about permission, fear of being seen, and how to take a first step without turning it into a life-altering decision. This led to the development of Stuck in Development, a speaking framework and live session designed to help individuals and groups understand why starting feels difficult and how to begin in ways that are realistic, contained, and humane.
