I am a seasoned audio engineer and sound technician with over a decade of experience in both live events and studio production. Certified in Pro Tools and skilled across house systems and mobile setups, I bring a versatile approach to every booking. I am just as comfortable managing a corporate press conference as I am mixing for a live concert.

Access and Timing
Load in and parking within 100 feet of the venue entrance or a reserved loading zone
Unobstructed path to the mix position and stage
Minimum setup and soundcheck window: 60 to 120 minutes before doors
Strike window: 30 to 60 minutes after the event
Power
Standard 110 to 120V grounded outlets
Two dedicated 15 to 20 amp circuits near stage and mix position
Clean power for audio only. No shared circuits with lighting, coffee makers, or heaters
Mix Position and Work Area
Mix position centered or near center of audience area when possible
One 6 foot table and one chair for console or laptop interface
Safe cable runs with covers or tape for all walkways
Venue Systems and Connectivity
Access to house PA and permission to patch in
Available inputs and outputs: XLR balanced preferred, TRS balanced acceptable
For DJs or playback: RCA or 3.5 mm adapter access near mix position if PA lacks USB or Bluetooth
Microphones and Sources
Spoken word and panels: two handheld wireless microphones plus one wired dynamic backup
Music acts: provide input list at least 72 hours in advance
Press events: if media is expected, a press mult box is required. Isolation and balanced feeds for cameras and recorders
Client Provided Equipment Minimums

Mixer with at least 4 open channels for simple events. 8 or more for panels or multiple mics
Two full range powered speakers or house PA with adequate coverage for the room
Stands, fresh batteries for wireless, and all required XLR and power cables
At least one floor or stage power drop for backline or podium area
Outdoor Events
Fully covered stage and mix position
Weather plan for wind and rain
Separate, dedicated power for audio. Generators must be inverter type
Noise Policies and Approvals
Venue noise curfew and SPL limits provided in advance
Any required permits or HOA approvals handled by client
Communication
Single on site point of contact with decision authority
Final schedule, run of show, and room layout delivered at least 72 hours before event
