Professional, Accountable, and Talented

I have hired Adam Paul for several performances at various museums in the US, including the Dallas Museum of Art and the Frist Art Museum in Nashville.

He has played with a jazz trio in art galleries and I have also hired him for music in museum Café’s where he has played and sang a mixture of jazz and contemporary covers.

I would highly recommend Adam for any of your musical needs and performances.

He is punctual, communicates promptly, and is great to work with.

Hired as: Acoustic Band, Singing Guitarist

About

Adam Paul is a Nashville-based guitarist known for creating the kind of musical atmosphere that people feel — elegant, soulful, and completely in tune with the energy of the room. His performances blend the sophistication of jazz with the warmth and familiarity of modern pop, resulting in music that enhances any space without ever overpowering it.

Adam performs regularly at some of Nashville’s most respected venues and is currently on the roster of approved musicians for the Frist Art Museum, where his solo guitar sets have provided the perfect soundtrack for exhibitions, receptions, and private events.

With a background in jazz guitar and years of performance experience across multiple genres, Adam’s playing brings together technical precision, improvisational freedom, and an ear for melody that keeps listeners engaged. His repertoire ranges from expressive jazz standards to tastefully reimagined versions of artists like John Mayer, The Beatles, Stevie Wonder, Ed Sheeran, — all arranged for solo guitar in a way that feels timeless and alive.

What sets Adam apart is his ability to read the room and tailor each set to the mood and purpose of the event. During a cocktail hour or dinner, his playing may lean smooth and understated — rich chord textures, gentle melodies, and rhythmic subtlety that invite conversation without distraction. When the energy picks up, his performance naturally evolves, weaving in rhythmic grooves and recognizable tunes that make guests smile and tap along.

Whether performing solo, with a duo, or leading a full band, Adam’s approach is always about serving the moment. His music provides atmosphere and emotional connection, not background noise. Clients often describe his sound as “polished yet organic” — refined enough for black-tie galas and art events, but still warm and human enough for intimate gatherings and weddings.

Performance Offerings:

Solo Guitar – Perfect for upscale restaurants, art openings, weddings, and private events. Adam performs a blend of instrumental jazz, soul, pop, and contemporary classics arranged for solo guitar.
Duo or Trio – For a livelier, more textured sound, Adam can perform with additional musicians such as a bassist, vocalist, or percussionist.
Full Band – For larger events or venues that want an energetic show while maintaining sophistication, Adam’s band delivers dynamic versions of his original music and popular covers.

Clients & Experience:

Frist Art Museum
Private & Corporate Events throughout Nashville and surrounding areas
Upscale Restaurants, Hotels, and Event Venues across Middle Tennessee

Music Style:
Adam’s music weaves together influences from jazz greats like Wes Montgomery and George Benson with the modern touch of artists like John Mayer, Sting, and Norah Jones. The result is a multi-genre sound that feels both classic and contemporary — lush chord voicings, tasteful improvisation, and melodic phrasing that keeps audiences fully present in the moment.
His playing isn’t about volume or flash — it’s about tone, touch, and feel. He uses dynamics and space intentionally, creating a flow that moves seamlessly from one tune to the next. Every note is played with purpose, designed to enhance the atmosphere and connect emotionally with whoever’s listening.

Why Clients Book Adam:
Event planners and venue owners consistently praise Adam for his professionalism, reliability, and adaptability. He shows up early, brings high-quality sound equipment suitable for any space, and communicates clearly before, during, and after the event. Most importantly, he understands how to fit into the event — knowing when to take the spotlight and when to let the moment breathe.
Whether performing at an art gallery, private home, fine dining restaurant, or outdoor wedding, Adam’s presence elevates the experience. Guests often comment on how the music “felt like it belonged there all along.”

Let’s Create the Perfect Soundtrack for Your Event:
If you’re looking for live music that’s elegant, versatile, and performed with genuine artistry, Adam Paul delivers. His solo performances and ensemble options bring a polished yet personal touch to any occasion.
