First of all I am portable and can play pretty much anywhere in the world and have in the past. I am from the UK and have lived and worked in Idaho for many years.
Gigs can vary and I am flexible to be able to be back ground or very interactive with the audience. I work best in smaller crowds (under 500) and prefer the dinner show more than the larger stages. I love sitting with the crowd!
Most gigs are around 3 hours, I do not do the traditional 45 on 15 off but constantly sing or play music and adjust dependent on how the night is going. Being flexible is key.
I can bring my own equipment but depending on the location and what the location has in place, its very easy to use ipods/cds if needed too.
I always want to meet (if possible) and have a sit down with the client to discuss all that is required for the event. Contarcts are usuallly 50% down and paid in full on the day of the gig (the usual contracts).
