Influences and inspiration

Acts like Jewel, and Zee Avi, as well as Dolly Parton and Johnny Cash have heavily inspired Ada, influencing her vocal and guitar stylings, as well as her lyric writing. Ada strives to combine the nostalgia of the past with the soft dulcet tones of modern bluegrass. She draws from Connie Francis and Skeeter Davis, mournful and sweet. Her soft, bell-like voice will provide either a good front act or background ambience to fit in your event space.
