Acoustic Generation

First off, we show up on time and with great attitudes. Plus we know a great sound person with a PA with great rates (he knows and loves our shows) that can provide the equipment and tech support if you need it. The crowd will be treated to a wonderful musical and visual experience. We have funky Hippie costumes, bring candles and psychedelic lights, bubbles to blow, and we invite the crowd to come up on the sides of the stage if they want to dance and be a part of the show. We have headlined festivals for 10,000+ and also played in lineups and other smaller events, Summer Concert Series, beach parties, etc. At festivals, we are often the crowd favorite band and get asked back to perform year after year.

Acoustic Generation is a good time party band. Crowds of all ages love our groove so we are great for city/community events, corporate events, Summer Concert Series, Craft Beer Fests, etc. Most live bands have good players and lousy singers. Or a good singer but the players aren't great. We combine both - great, experienced players and beautiful 3 & 4 part harmonies on Classic Rock favorites. Plus we have a pro steel drum player and you NEVER hear that. We add in fun, audience participation tunes by Jimmy Buffett and The Beach Boys for a memorable live experience. Crowds are encouraged to dance on the sides of the stage just like in the Summer of Love shows in the late '60s.

We would need a stage and a PA with 4 vocal mikes and monitors. Our band has 7 members and most times our amps are miked as well (lead guitar, acoustic guitar, bass, steel drums, drums). We play a lot of shows with backlines, but we do have our own gear. We know a great sound technician who does many of our shows and could provide that resource. He is great, knows how to mix to any room or environment, has his own PA equipment, etc. But we are flexible and will work with any situation to put on a memorable show.
