Acoustic by George
Overview
With a guitar slung across his shoulder and a voice that feels like an old friend, George takes the stage for dozens of performances monthly, bringing listeners back to what music is meant to be: honest, heartfelt, and deeply human. With a vast song catalog including hundreds of hits from 70's & 80's Singer/Songwriters, Classic Rock and Classic Country artists, George's repertoire is a rich blend of folksy tomes that echo with nostalgia and love ballads that linger long after the last note fades.

May 9, 2026Incredible!
George has been to our establishment Bootleggers Bar Grill and Pizza several times. Everytime he visits we love him more. He sings all of the favorites we grew up with and some newer favorites as well. Not only is George an incredible artist but an even better human as well. We recommend him hands down. And all of our bartenders want to work his nights too.

What to expect
An intimate experience, where every song feels personal. George doesn't perform to the crowd — he performs with them. Foot-tapping folk rhythms, soaring melodies, and a room full of people singing every word in unison. It’s not just a concert — it’s a gathering of kindred spirits.
If you're craving music with depth, warmth, and truth, George is your new favorite artist — you just haven’t heard him yet.
About
The Voice of Heartland Soul 🎶
In an age of overproduced hits and fleeting trends, not to mention the plethora of "solo" guitarists performing with backing tracks and looper pedals, one voice cuts through the noise like a flowing breeze over open fields — George, the troubadour of tenderness, the storyteller of the soul.
Whether he's strumming a quiet ode to a long-lost summer or pouring his heart out in a candlelit ballad, George doesn't just sing — he connects. His lyrics paint pictures of dirt roads, second chances, quiet mornings, and the kind of love that makes you believe again.
Here's a cross-section of artists George performs: James Taylor, Dan Fogelberg, John Denver, Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, Randy Travis, Van Morrison, Jim Croce, Gordon Lightfoot, Elvis, Frank Sinatra, Elton John, Journey, REO Speedwagon, Chicago, and many, many more.
