February 14, 2026Lorenzo brought the vibe and the magic to my mother's birthday party of friends and neighbors. He prepared a beautiful assortment of waltzes per our request, all of which warmed all our hearts. He is a virtuoso on the accordion and an absolute sweetheart-he also kept in touch ahead of time and at the last minute for his surprise entrance. I wish we could have him at every party!

Gig length: 10 - 300 minutes
While I am available to be advised at the event coordinator's discretion, I generally play anywhere from 30 minutes (a quick birthday surprise, for instance) to 4-5 hours. However, my average playing time hovers between 1-3 hours with a break or two in between for longer durations. I am also happy to bring amplification for larger event spaces and more crowded festivities with several dozen to several hundred guests in attendance. I can be seated, standing up, or strolling as a "wandering accordionist" depending on what is most desirable by the hosts and/or the guests. I am also amenable to working with event organizers on specific song requests, the timing of my performance to coordinate with simultaneous events (e.g., if the music would be coordinated, for instance, with a wedding procession or a birthday surprise), and on any other matters.
I am born and raised in San Francisco, California's Excelsior District and have been playing the accordion now for almost twenty years. My influences began with watching the Lawrence Welk Show as a very young kid and developing an appreciation for older genres of music. I have played for hundreds of functions throughout my young career, including for many high-profile political fundraisers, San Francisco Bay Area galas, wedding receptions, corporate functions (e.g., for Google, Zoosk, PagerDuty, etc.) and many casual Oktoberfests and Italian dinners in between. When I am not playing accordion, I am practicing one of several foreign languages I know (Italian, Greek, Mandarin Chinese, Korean, and others), writing (I am the author of several nonfiction publications), or attending law school. While I am an aspiring attorney, my lifelong passion is music and bringing a taste of the accordion to others!
There is no requirement for technical services. The way you'd like to project and present my music is entirely up to you. You can put me up on a stage or stuff me in a corner, I am just fine, and do not demand special attention.

Lawrence Welk and Myron Floren, two famous accordionists of the past have inspired me to play the accordion. I have also been heavily influenced by the Big Band artists and orchestra leaders such as the Dorsey brothers, Glenn Miller, Benny Goodman, Kay Kyser, Percy Faith, and Gene Krupa. Some of my other favorite singers/musicians are Bobby Vinson, Bobby Helms, Jo Stafford, Patti Page, Teresa Brewer, Patsy Cline, Al Jolson, Eddie Cantor, Dean Martin, Eydie Gore, and Connie Francis.
