About Time plays acoustic original and popular cover music with polished harmonies and rich instrumentals. The genres we cover include songs from Acoustic, Americana, Bluegrass, Cajun, Country, Folk, Folk-Rock, Jazz, Latin, Pop, Rock, Classic-Rock, Swing, Singer-songwriter, and Zydeco. Some of our songs invite the guests to sing along and we can even arrange to invite guests to join us on hand percussion instruments on a few songs. While much, but not all, of our music is suitable for dancing, we're really not a dance band. We can play a from 1 set to 3 sets of music. Sets are from 45-50 minutes. We'll take a 10-15 minute break each set. We provide a sound system suitable for a small room as a part of the fee. A $50 additional fee will be added if a larger sound system is needed. We will consider requests for playing special songs if requested at the time of booking the trio. Additional musicians including a bass guitar or drummer will add additional cost. We provide an additional microphone for an announcer. We will allow the use of our sound equipment for playing your pre-recorded music before our performance and during our break. We arrive to set up typically one full hour before the performance. If we play during the dinner hour, we ask that food be provided for the trio during the break. We can play indoors or outdoors. If we play outdoors we ask that the client provide outdoor shelter. Because we play acoustic instruments, we are unable to play outdoors in high heat ( 90 degrees and above) unless cover and outdoor cooling is provided. We're always happy to consider your needs or answer any questions you may have.

Started in 2014, About Time has gathered a strong Ventura county following performing at the Saloon BBQ, Deer Lodge, and Surf Brewery all where we’ve been invited back to play several times. Walt released his CD “You Are Here – Ventura, CA” in October 2015 that was featured in the VC Star newspaper. A CAPPS TV performance released in May this year. We actively promote our gigs on Facebook and email to a group of increasing fans and always supply our venues with posters and ad size web photos.
