Abby Rose

Abby Rose is a Boston-based singer-songwriter and musician. Being named after the Beatles album “Abbey Road," music has been a part of Abby’s life from the very beginning. At the age of 12, she taught herself to play guitar, piano, and ukulele. Abby discovered her love for songwriting in her childhood bedroom, writing songs to cope with her own personal losses and express herself through music. Around this time she began writing, recording, and performing her original music, and has been ever since. She considers herself an “old soul,” telling stories through her songs and drawing inspiration from her own and others’ experiences. She recently received a Bachelor of Music from Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA. Accompanying herself on acoustic guitar, Abby plays gigs across New England, playing a variety of genres, including tops 40's, pop, classic rock, country, folk, originals, and more. She also plays with an acoustic duo act named Riley Rose, featuring blues musician Josh Riley.
