His practical teaching of God's word combined with real life application and lighthearted humor help him to connect with both adults and youth. On every occasion that I have heard Aaron speak, his passion for Jesus and for the lost are at the center of his teaching. The Lord has abundantly gifted Aaron, and Aaron is using those giftings to further the Kingdom of God.

November 17, 2022Aaron was an amazing speaker. He also was amazing with the students, there were times that he would come out and hang out with the students and play the games with them. He wasn't one to just focus on what he was going to speak about but he was also focused on building relationships with the students. I believe that in doing that it helped engaged the students in his message. From what I heard from the students, they loved him!

Aaron Powers is a public speaker and ministry coach. He felt called into ministry as a teen at summer camp, but spent many of the subsequent years running from God. Finally, he stopped running and leaned in to the life God was calling him to. He later met his wife and started volunteering at his church. In time, he was hired to be the youth pastor at his church, and he loved his years speaking to and connecting with teenagers. After that, he felt led to lead a new multisite campus and he later became lead pastor of that campus once it was planted by his home church. He has served as lead pastor for 12 years at Compass Church. He's been known for his humor, vulnerability, and for teaching Biblical truth in a way that is relatable and understandable.
Aaron lives in the San Antonio area with his wife and two teenagers. He loves baseball, travel, and missions. He is available to travel nationwide for speaking and coaching.
