Comedian Aaron Gnirk is host of the award winning drive time lifestyle trending talk radio indie unsigned local music television program the Big Dumb Fun Show® and co-host of (link hidden) Crime Stories podcast. Originally from South Dakota, Aaron began performing comedy while attending Arizona State University in 1987 as a member of the improvisation and sketch group Farce Side. Aaron has toured nationally performing his brand of PG-13 clean stand-up comedy at clubs, colleges, corporate and fundraiser events for over 25 years. He has made numerous TV appearances on ABC, NBC, HBO, Comedy Central, and Oxygen. Between 1997 and 2001 he worked in the entertainment industry for Jerry Bruckheimer, The Walt Disney Company, The Hollywood Reporter and Oxygen. In 2001 Aaron relocated to Kansas City, MO from Los Angeles. In 2003 he produced talk radio program The Elliott Threatt Show M-F 6pm to sunset on AM 1510. In 2004, Aaron co-founded and became General Manager of All Comedy Radio AM 1340 KCKN. He has been the President, Treasurer and Webmaster for the Kansas City based non-profit Independent Filmmakers Coalition and served on the Kansas City Filmmakers Jubilee board of directors. Aaron created and produced three Standup for Cerebral Palsy comedy fundraiser events to benefit UCP of Greater Kansas City which raised over $72,000.00.
