An actor and historical re-enactor, providing historical presentations for schools, libraries and any other function requiring a real look at history -- focusing on the Golden Age of Piracy, but able to fill other roles as required.
Primarily, I provide specific, pre-scripted educational presentations (Pirates: History vs. Hollywood, Understanding Shakespeare, The Duellists or Surviving the Inevitable Zombie Apocalypse). Original presentations can be crafted, given enough advance notice.
Please indicate specifically if you are inquiring about an existing program or are interested in an original presentation. No birthday parties, sorry.

What to Expect
A costumed character will provide a historical or otherwise informational presentation, to meet the specifics required by the client.
Sam Nash is an actor and historical re-enactor specializing in bringing the reality of history to students, comparing that reality with the popular views of various historical periods. Using pop-culture to lead into actual history engages students in a more direct way than the dry information often presented on the pages of history books. The Golden Age of Piracy, Shakespeare and storytelling through improvisational techniques are particular specialties. Costumed appearances can be made specific to your needs.
Additional Booking Notes
Unless required for the specifics of the appearance, no additional technical requirements exist.
