Overview
I am a performer. I’ve been a performer for over 35 years and improvisational Comedy and Acting. I started playing Santa Claus five years ago and for four years in a row I played two about 30, 000 people per year at a museum in Plano Texas. I was a therapeutic Clown at a Children’s Hospital in Fort Worth for two years having a trained with the same people that worked with Patch Adams. I was also one of the founding members of the Jekyll and Hyde club in Manhattan. I’ve played to an audience a little as five people and as large as 5000 people. When I’m not playing Santa, I love taking Emcee duties over and just a trolling performer, I interact well personally and from the stage.

I had the pleasure of working with Santa for five Christmas seasons at the Heritage Farmstead Museum's Lights on the Farm event. He is absolutely amazing at what he does! His warmth, kindness and ability to bring the magic of Christmas to life makes him the real deal. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a truly wonderful Santa!

What to expect
I performed as a strolling performer and up close interaction with audiences for many years. I also love to be an Emcee for small and big Events. I’m also great at developing scripts whether it’d be murder mysteries or any kind of interactive script.
About
Doug Goodrich has been performing for live audiences for over 35 years. He started out in improvisational Comedy which took him from Dallas to New York City in the 90s. He was one of the founding members of the Jekyll and Hyde club in Midtown Manhattan. He came back to Dallas and had a great commercial run in front of the camera but continue to teach and perform Improv. For two years he was a therapeutic Clown for Cook Children’s Hospital in downtown Fort Worth. Having been trained by the same people that trained the original Patch Adams. He can be seen on the sitcom Ishine Knect on YouTube and Amazon. For five years now, Doug has performed Santa as Kris Kringling. Performing in front of 30,000 people a season at the Heritage Farmstead Museum in Plano Texas. Doug has a performed in front of an audience of five and as many of people as 5000. When he’s not performing, he is taking care of his two cats, Laverne and Shirley, the loves of his life.
