Two of the most common forms of contemporary live entertainment are music and comedy. A New Kind of Storytelling incorporates both mediums of entertainment while pulling the audience through the twists and turns of the narrative. With profanity free, family friendly stories, A New Kind of Storytelling accommodates kids, while peppering in references for more mature audience members. Finally, music, the international language that permeates through hearts of all ages and backgrounds, makes A New Kind of Storytelling the perfect choice for any event.

From the driest humor to the most sentimental serenades, A New Kind of Storytelling is an entertaining journey that will get to your funny-bone and then your heart.
I have been acting since I was a child. I have always loved the rush of adrenaline that comes from stepping out on stage and the connection built between the performer and the audience. Early on, it became apparent that I had an affinity for acting, and I began to pursue it further. There is a saying that acting is storytelling, and though it was originally an acting tip, it was a simple answer to a very complicated problem for me.
As I transitioned out of childhood, I could no longer focus solely on things I was passionate about, I had to find a way to generate income, and doing so through acting is a process that requires a lot waiting and patience. Though the typical job for actors awaiting roles is waiting tables, I wanted to find a way to make a living while continuing to use my talents and continuing to perform. After meeting a very successful magician during my first year of college, who became a mentor, I decided that I would become an entertainer. The problem was that I wasn't a magician, and I was not sure how I would entertain people without a script and a cast. I also met a girl in my first year of college whom I fell in love with, and after we went our separate ways at the end of the year I couldn’t stop thinking about her. So I began to write about our experiences.
After letting my love of laughter get the best of me, I filled the story with jokes. Before long, music found its way into the story too. Soon, I had written "Lub Story," a unique creation that blended comedy, emotion, and music. I created something that allowed me to do what I do best, to connect with my audience.

I was influenced to become an entertainer by Bill Clary, the magician, who also incorporates comedy and music into his performances.
