Overview

A reverse storytelling show - The Campfireball is crafted live and in the moment entirely from the stories of the audience. Host, Cory Howard, conducts this symphony of spectator's lives while ensuring each show is it's own unique event, equally rewarding to play along with as it is to just sit back and watch.

A great fit for any group looking to surprise themselves with...themselves! While The Campfireball is absolutely entertaining ridiculousness, it also offers folks a chance to feel seen and heard, incentivizing listening, fostering connection, and strengthening your community -- it's pretty hard not to care for someone even just a little bit more once you've heard their story.

Great interaction!

Cory's performance was a great way to start the conference! It lightened the atmosphere, and several references throughout the day were callbacks from information brought up during his time on stage. Thank you for a great event, Cory!

What to expect

The Campfireball is a super minimal experience, it can be set up in any kind of space from a tiny corner to a full on theatre. The set up is quick, less than 30 minutes, in the staging area there will be a PA and a box of props and items for the show. At the entrance there is a table with handheld items that everyone in the audience receives when they enter.

The average show, depending on your needs, is 60-90 mins. It is a fairly active experience, with audience members occasionally getting out of their seats, the host continually interacting with, and going back and forth between, the audience and the stage area.

At the end of the show, host can pack up and be done very quickly, 30 minutes (usually much less), part of the experience can include hanging around for a bit and talking with the audience about the show, as often folks want to debrief, share stories that they didn't get a chance to say, compare something in their lives with a different story that came up during the show, etc...

If you have any questions about the way the show works, or are still unsure about what to expect, don't hesitate to reach out!

The Campfireball is like if Oprah hosted Double Dare and the contestants were Mr. Rogers vs. Andy Kaufman.
