A Mountain Laurel Melody

I have a large variety of instruments in my professional network to achieve the sound and flavor you are looking for for any event. I began as a classically trained musician, but my musical style is based on adaptation to bring whatever sound you would like.

Laura Pradia began her music studies on the piano when she was six years old. She started violin at age ten, and by the time she turned fifteen, she had added flute and harp. Laura has recently begun teaching music lessons to give something back for all of the great musical instruction she has received over the years.

Laura loves to improvise, and she is passionate about the variety of musical flavors that can be achieved in a single song. Laura enjoys playing a wide array of styles including classical, pop, jazz, country, and Celtic fiddle. She particularly enjoys exploring fresh ways to present classic favorites.

Laura has been performing onstage for several years, solo and with various ensembles, and she has a quiet, professional presence which has been described as soothing, winsome, and graceful.

Because most of my instruments are wooden and do not react well to extreme temperatures or water, my performance area must be out of direct sunlight if at all possible, and an indoor contingency plan must be in place in case of foul weather.

In order for me to promise the best performance possible, it is ideal if I can access the event venue at least 45 minutes to 1.5 hours before the performance so I can set up, tune my instruments, and be ready to begin playing as soon as the first guest shows up.
