Captain Jim came to my son's birthday party and made it all complete. We really expected the kids to be intrigued by the magic and illusions, but we were all especially pleased when the adults and everyone in attendance were taken in by Catain Jim's show. Captain Jim was professional and polite, he was prompt and courteous, and he was excellent at communicating with us (even though our event fell during holiday times).
Captain Jim had a professional set-up (this is not dollar store magic done by your uncle dressed as a clown - this is great, mind-boggling, top-notch illusions), and his illusions and show were done up well. Though our turn out was a bit smaller than we hoped, he put on a full production with music, jokes, balloon animals and magic. He was great with the kids and showed that he enjoyed performing for us as much as we enjoying watching.
I will be looking for the next excuse to book Captain Jim for anything else I can think of and if you have any kind of event for any age, I HIGHLY recommend contacting him. He is a class act and a talented performance artist that I highly recommend without any hesitation.

Captain Jim was very personable with everyone off all ages. He was great with the children. He involved all the children in the magic act, and also entertained the adults. We still have people in the neighborhood asking "How did he do that?". We also enjoyed his dejaying services. It was a blast to see everyone "trying" to line dance to the different songs. "His lovely assistant" did a great job face painting. The entire day was wonderful. All we had to do was sit back and enjoy.

WOW! Captain Jim is Fantastic! He came to one of my senior citizens resource luncheons in April 2013 and performed a great magical illusion routine! Jim totally captured their attention and the seniors loved every minute! I plan on having Captain Jim come to some of my other senior citizen sites and show off his talent to them as well! I recommend him for all ages!

We had our annual Company Picnic at Tanglewood. We have hired A Lighthouse Production several times over the years. I have to say they get better ever time we book them. They always are adding fun entertainment and new magic routines. This is a family event and all ages had a great time. From the close up magic to the show with music and singing to the balloon twisting & face painting. All was excellent as usual. We look forward to booking A Lighthouse Production again. Thank you
We booked Captain Jim & his Crew for our employee corporate party. He was above and beyond what I had herd about. They arrived early and set up like professionals. When it came to show time they all went to work. D.J. music playing while Captain Jim performed close up magic. They had a Stilt walker & juggler. It was amazing to watch him & after dinner they performed one of the most professional illusion shows that I have seen around here. They were amazing, funny & motivational. After the show Captain Jim had us all on the dance floor. Top music and dance lights. His wife was set up as a gypsy reading fortunes and had a long line all night. We all had a wonderful evening. The teens loved him. We hired him to D.J. our daughters 16th Birthday. The party was...how do I say like my teens...off the chain! As everyone arrived they were keeping to themselves in small groups but Captain Jim got them going with freaky magic. Teens were screaming and shouting he then had them all dancing and interacting. Later in the party he even made crazy balloon hats for the teens to dance in and go home with. They loved it. I have never seen a "D.J." with so much talent. I guess that is the difference between a D.J. and a real entertainer!

We have had a lot of different entertainment at our sons birthday parties over the years but Captain Jim was truly amazing! He arrived 30mins. before show time like he said he would do. Set up his show and performed what was an amazing show. Children and Adults were captivated, laughed and touched by his inspiring words. My son still feels so good about himself after all the kind words Captain Jim said about him at his party. Just fantastic!

Wow! Captain Jim entertained at our 40 Birthday party and had everyone on the edge of their seat. Amazing card magic & stage illusions as well as fun humor and just all around entertaining. He D.J.ed our party after the show and had wonderful sound system and played great music. His lighting was awesome. He puts a lot into what he does. More than I have seen any one do and it shows in his performances.

Captain Jim has been performing since a young lad.
Since 2002 his childhood endeavors have been a full time career. He performs on average 350 shows a year He won 1st place for Best Stage Show at the Myrtle Beach Magic Convention. He also receives tons of Rave Reviews from all who see his show. Many clients book him multiple times.

Additional Booking Notes
We have our own sound system, mics, computers & lighting. We are very self sufficient. We can perform on ground level with your audience or on your stage or from our outdoor tents. We generally arrive 1.5 hrs prior to show time to set up.
