Bruddah Vince’s kindness and support during a difficult time was much appreciated.
He played/sang Waialua Sky (Krush), Israel Kamakawiwo’ole music, and Aloha ‘Oe (HRH Queen Lili’uokalani) for a Native Hawaiian funeral.
Providing musical support during a funeral is completely different than an entertainment performance.
I can only comment about what I can remember about the music Bruddah Vince provided at my husband’s funeral. It was just right. Soft. Respectful. Exactly the right music at key times throughout the service. “Aloha ‘Oe” sung in both Hawaiian & English to conclude the graveside farewell was perfect.
