Hire a tarot reader to add an interactive and mystical twist to your party or event. Find tarot readers for hire near you, with profiles, pricing, and FAQs to help you book with confidence.
On average, professional tarot readers cost $250-$350 for a 2-hour event. The exact price may vary depending on the length of the event, the number of guests seeking a reading, and any special requests you might have.
Most tarot card readings take about 15-20 minutes, which means you’ll only be able to accommodate a handful of guests per hour. Some readers may offer shorter reads suitable for busier parties. Ask your tarot professional if they offer this and the best way to execute it. It may require setting some expectations for your guests to ensure a speedy read.
If you are hosting a large event, consider hiring multiple readers or additional performers to make sure all your guests are engaged. If you want to stick with a psychic entertainment theme, you can hire other types of fortune tellers like mind readers and palm readers.
Give your tarot reader ample time to prepare for your event. Booking them out at least a month in advance will give your reader a chance to gather any needed resources and meet any unique requirements you’ve discussed.
Tarot readers are a fun entertainment option for birthdays, fairs, festivals, and special events like proms, bachelorette parties, and Halloween celebrations. With the right kind of atmosphere, tarot readings can be a great ice breaker as well, allowing your guests to mingle afterward and discuss their readings.
However, psychic entertainment isn’t for everyone. Before you hire a tarot card reader for a party, consider whether your guests will be excited by this mystical, magical offering.
Tarot readers welcome questions of all kinds, but you and your guests might find the most fulfilling answers come from open-ended, clarifying questions about personal relationships and life changes. If you refrain from asking yes-or-no questions, questions that you already know the answer to, and questions that you don’t want to know the answer to, you’re more likely to have a successful, illuminating reading.
