The ensemble or musician would first be set up near the piano in the sanctuary of the church. After the service they would set up in the parish hall.
When the Saints Go Marching In
The service begins at 10:30 AM. The musicians would play When the Saints Go Marching In at the conclusion of the service.
We hope you could play “When the Saints Go Marching In”at the end of my mother’s memorial service, and then move to the parish hall to play for an hour during the reception. Mary Frances Andrus died at 94 years of age. As a young woman she moved to New Orleans (after serving in WWII in the Signal Corps, and then as an archivist st the National Archives when the war ended).she met our father there, a Cajun, Navy veteran, and jazz and classical music enthusiast. We feel that this music would honor her faith and her adventurous spirit, and our father who died in 1971.
