An exciting and fun show, true to the performance and style of seeing Debbie Harry and Blondie in their early 80's heyday! If your audience loves to dance, we keep the hits coming in our eclectic second set of danceable 80's tunes.

BLONDIVA is a tribute to the New Wave/Punk pioneers of the late 70's, BLONDIE. Based in the San Francisco Bay Area, Blondiva's mission is to replicate as closely as possible the experience of seeing Blondie and its stars, Debbie Harry and Chris Stein, in their 70's-90's heyday. Blondiva puts on a high-energy, theatrical performance bound to please all who grew up with and loved Blondie.

Blondiva was conceived and developed by co-founders Janet Furman and Florence McLaughlin, both lifelong Blondie fans, in 2018.

We guarantee a minimum of one solid hour of Blondie tunes and an additional hour of danceable hit songs of the 80's, whose original versions featured mainly female singers. We can play requests if submitted in advance. Our performance is dynamic and fun! We emulate Blondie's own arrangements and stage act.

The women and men of Blondiva all have long histories of playing in bands. We are experienced and we are reliable. We love what we do and it will show! We are responsible, we communicate well, we return phone calls and emails promptly, we show up on time, we are professional in our attitude, and we guarantee you a good time. Our fees are reasonable, and we will do our best to work within your budget.

We normally expect the venue to provide sound reinforcement and lighting. If necessary, we can provide it at an extra cost.
