What to expect
Since ancient times, storytelling in many different cultures has been a way of passing on traditions, codes of behavior, as well as maintaining a strong community.
8thGeneration Storytelling uses the art of oral tradition as a tool for transforming and inspiring lives.
In each performance, the audience participates in the telling of stories by using, song, dance, music and rhythmic beats. Aiding in the development of multiple literacy, memory, team building, confidence, imagination, culture awareness, retelling, reflecting and relating.

Our storyteller
Born and raised in South Africa, Jacqui Du Toit is known for her animated stories from the mother land. By combining gestures, dance, singing, facial expressions, and dramatic impersonations that spark the audience, Jacqui knows how to captivate the audience with more than just words.
