🔹 Aerial Performance Technical Requirements
Rigging & Equipment:
Certified aerial rigging point with minimum WLL (Working Load Limit) of 1,500 lbs
Ceiling height: minimum 12 ft (3.7m) preferred (adjustable based on act)
Point access: carabiner, swivel, and rescue 8 or figure 8 required if self-rigging is not allowed
(I can supply my own if self rigging allowed)
No sharp edges or abrasives near rig point
Aerial apparatus supplied by performer (e.g., aerial hoop, silks, hammock)
Floor & Space Requirements:
Minimum performance area: 10x10 ft (3x3 m) clear of obstructions
Stage or surface must be dry, clean, and even
Lighting & Tech:
Adequate spotlighting or general wash lighting
Access to sound system for music cues (Bluetooth, AUX, or USB accepted)
30 minutes minimum for setup, rigging, and warm-up
Other:
Private or secure changing area
Water access and fan/heater depending on weather conditions (for outdoor shows)
Tech rehearsal preferred (15–30 minutes)

Smooth, flat, dry surface (wood, dance vinyl, or flat concrete preferred)
Ceiling height of 9 ft+ (2.7m) if indoors, (for multi-hoop tricks)
Lighting & Tech:
General lighting for visibility or spotlighting for stage performances
Sound system access for music (Bluetooth, AUX, or USB compatible)
Other:
15–30 minutes for setup, warm-up, and tech check
Private or secure changing area
If outdoors: shaded waiting area and clean, dry floor essential (hoop breaks on rough terrain)
