April 29, 2025If you are considering booking them for your wedding or event... do it! They are absolute show stoppers. The 5 String Swing/5 String Pop performed for both our ceremony and cocktail hour, and were truly the highlight of our wedding. Steffen was great to work with as we planned our wedding, and helped our vision come true. They are so talented, kind, accommodating and easy to work with, performing both special pop requests and jazz. We will definitely work with them again on future events!

5 String Pop is a lively violin led band that regularly presents shows of Modern Pop music along with Jazz, Klezmer, and American Standards throughout the South Florida area.
Bandleader Steffen Zeichner is a Grammy winning creative violinist who actively performs pop, jazz, classical, and klezmer music alongside a variety of other genres. He is the Adjunct Lecturer of Jazz Violin at Florida International University.
Throughout his career Steffen has performed with a variety of top artists including Chick Corea, Gloria Estefan, Cyrille Aimee, Nestor Torres, Kenny Loggins, Ben Folds, Maria Schneider, Terence Blanchard, and George Benson, with whom he was featured as the violin soloist and concertmaster for Benson's 2013 album, "Inspiration".
Steffen is also an experienced studio musician, credited on Grammy winning and Grammy nominated records, multiple Downbeat Award winning recordings, and many other albums of various musical genres.
