The UEB Band exceeded my expectations. The band arrived early, and kept the crowd constantly on the dance floor. I highly recommend this band. Definitely a five star rating!!!

Uptown Entertainment Band was fun, interactive, and everything I wanted!! I booked them for my birthday party and they were excellent! We had a blast and everyone at the party couldn't have said anything better about the band! They were very professional and easy to work with. I would highly recommend this band.

Wow! The Uptown Funk Band really made my husband’s surprise birthday party a huge success and a night to remember. Mr. Woodall and the band was very accommodating and played a lot of 70’s dance music as well as jazz and current music to keep my guests on the dance floor. My husband loved the sax solo and you captured all the great 70’s music that he loves. I could not have asked for a better experience for my husband and guests at the party! All of my guests have been singing praises of how great the band was, and I will definitely use you for all of my future parties. YOU’RE THE GREATEST!

This experience was more than I could dream of! From the first steps of booking the band, all the way to the day of my party, the experience was Amazing!! The band took time to know me and made my wishes feel important and possible, that meant so much to me! I was more than just a business transaction. If you are looking for professionals that truly care about their customers, I absolutely recommend this band for your next event. This Band will forever hold a special place in my heart. We are family now!

We have had over six art walks since last year and no band has gotten the crowd as excited as the Uptown Entertainment Band. They play songs that family members of any age would love. Their energy is unmatched, their sound is beautiful and they were punctual and professional. We will definitely be looking to book them again.

About
"Uptown Entertainment Band" is one of the hottest bands in Atlanta Georgia. “UEB” has been a major driving force on the music scene for quite some time. The dynamics of the group allows them to offer a variety of music styles.

North “2unes” Woodall With “2unes” as your stage name, and if I were a betting woman, I would put money on the theory that jazz guitarist North Woodall can play his hind parts off. Mmmm, I’m feeling lucky right about now… any takers? On the real tip, my point of view is much more than conjecture. Having sampled the goods, if you will, speculation turns into truth.Primarily self-taught, it was at the age of eleven that his mom introduced him to the guitar and a love affair with music that has stood the test of time and many challenges was born. In his teens, North studied the playing styles of Ernie Isley, Santana, and Joe Walsh, among others. Hard work, determination, and a natural gift paid off. North began playing R&B, entered several talent shows and, as a result of his burgeoning proficiency with the guitar, he was quickly established with known groups in and around Dayton like The Delvones and Round Trip Ticket.Mississippi bred and Ohio led, not my words ya’ll, Woodall, followed his internal guide and headed south to Atlanta. There, he continued to hone his skills and his cup over-floweth when opportunities came a-knocking for him to share the stage with his homies, funk masters Lakeside and The Ohio Players, along with Roger Troutman and Zapp, Roy Aires, Millie Jackson, Tom Brown and Will Downing
Karen “KD” Woodall From Co-Coa Beach Florida holding it down in Georgia. The persute of music at an early age playing the saxophone in highschool band and the keyboards in talent shows and also with her passion of dancing, she also enjoy choreographing dance steps. While listening to the accapella group take 6 is what gave her the passion to sing and write lyrics. her influence is Chaka Khan, Anita Baker, Sara Vaughn etc. She has done studio work from lead to background for several independent artists. While on stage not only does she enjoy entertaining the audience but plays the “funk box “ also known as a handsonic.” Her classy style is like no other.
Regis Oddo began his music education in Nigeria, West Africa playing organ for the church. His parents love for music inspired his musical tenacity. As a child, his favorite artists were Michael Jackson, Prince, Stevie Wonder, Bob Marley and Lionel Richie. He enjoys jazz, R&B, and Pop, Funk, Reggae, Afro Music, Hip-Hop, Neo-Soul and Classical music. Being born in Philadelphia and growing up in Nigeria not only expanded his love for music but exposed him to different cultures, which helped solidify his musical interests as well. Regis believes that music is an international language that brings everyone together, and wants to be a part of that movement. He is inspired by piano greats including Oscar Peterson, Bob James, Dave Grusin, Jeff Lorber, and Chick Correa to name a few and continues to thrive for music excellence. Playing the piano was the beginning of a long journey with countless bands in both Africa and the United States. He continues to build his musical knowledge everyday with the dream of becoming an inspiration for younger would be musicians of the future.
Willie “Flint” Cox I am a Drummer, whose desire started at the age of 4, and I’ve never looked back since. I played all thru elementary school, junior high, and high school. Played for several different local bands out of Flint, MI. and perfected my craft further in school to graduate from Julia ST. Cecilia, school of arts. Opened for Chapter 8, with a local band. Change, we opened the show for them, and several other opening acts. I’ve always stayed ambitious, and inspired by new and upcoming artist with a flair for Jazz, and R&B. (and everything outside the box). Here’s to a long time coming, and being able to say Here’s too, the first Milli Yo.
Redd “Sax Player”
Redd started playing saxophone at age 8 in elementary school band. He played in school band every year from 4th grade through college. He majored in music and graduated from Morehouse College with a BA in music performance. He is well-versed in a variety of styles and some of his influences include Maceo Parker, John Coltrane, Junior Walker, Charlie Parker, Wayne Shorter, Michael Brecker and others too numerous to mention. He continues to study the saxophone and music theory as a lifetime endeavor.
Vinnie B
Hailing from the Land of Funk, Dayton, Ohio, Vincent Beavers began his musical journey. at the age of eight he started out playing the piano, drums, violin, double bass, and tuba . After experimenting with different musical instruments he settled on the electric bass guitar when he was 12 years old. Vincent has been on shows with Lakeside, James Brown, Heat Wave, and Bootsy Collins. He has been signed with record labels Motown and Curtom. Vincent possesses a high energy performance on stage. His Bass playing and showman ship ability is exciting to see.
David Solomon Morrow
is a native of Clearwater, Florida by way of Charleston, South Carolina. David is not just a Saxophonist, but he is a “Performing” Saxophonist, who is not confined to the stage. David is a showman who can dazzle your guests personally! David has performed with Permanent Vacation Band (Rock, Shag, & Request), The First Class Band, Ross Brown Ent (Motown Tribute), Rich Hippey Band, and has perfomed with Violinist Daniel D, Beyond The Rhythm Band (R&B, Jazz, & Variety), Carrie McDowell, Ann Caldwell, Liquid Pleasure Show Band, Tony Howard Show Band, Calvin Taylor, East Port Party Band, Ocean Drive Party Band (Beach, Shag, & Variety), Shades of Plenty, David Matthews Tribute Band, and was once a member of A Touch of Class Band (Legacy) , Sequence 8 and Secrets of Augusta, Ga, Fire of Statesboro, Ga, and many others.
Most Memorable Moments: One night…David shared the stage with ”The Godfather of Soul – James Brown!!!” Also was once considered to perform on one of James’s upcoming singles. In 2014 David performed with violinist Daniel D and was flown down to Captive Island, Fl to perform for a Yacht Club Event. In April 2015, David provided music for Bravo Network’s reality show “Southern Charm” Season II during their Ball & other events. Actor in a DBD Performing Arts Company play & Saxophonist in the Piccolo Spoleto play “It Aint Nothin’ But The Blues”.
