Why hire Vintage Highways Band?

It’s about music, it’s about joy, it’s about energy that’s easy on the ears and a celebration that happens when Vintage Highways Band cranks it up. It’s also about a catalog of songs that will likely rank as vintage-fine quality and memory to a wide range of listeners, whether that song was released this year or earlier (check out the “Demos” tab on the home page). Sure, you’re likely to hear golden gems from Bad Company & INXS to Tom Petty & Aretha, but figure in some hot contemporaries like Pink, Lady Antebellum and Grace Potter and you’re now rockin’ down the Vintage Highways. It’s also about versatility and appreciation for any venue that a band like this delivers.

Bar/LoungeI have seen Vintage several times and they have been great every time! They play nice range of music (new stuff and old stuff). Highly recommend attending one of their gigs.

Response from Vintage Highways Band:
We played at Overtime Sports Pub located at 1030 North Rogers Lane Raleigh NC 27610. What a great place to play, the crowd is always awesome, looking forward to playing there again soon. Thank you Scott M. for the five star rating review. ROCK ON VINTAGE HIGHWAYS BAND!!!

Great Whether Acoustic or Full band

RestaurantI've heard them as a full band at Saints & Scholars, and as an acoustic duo at Sola Coffee Cafe and Poppyseed Market. They're always great and cover current and slightly older pop/rock. Always excellent!

Overview

About

Brought together by the musical passions and talents of Stan Jones and Palma Sharp, the group jelled around this seasoned guitarist/vocalist and versatile songstress who filled out a set list with music based on great melodies, riffs and lyrics — songs that sounded good even stripped down to a six-string and light percussion with killer harmonies. Stan and Palma devoted themselves to producing tunes they loved on their own, then delivering that essence in performance so a listener could appreciate and enjoy the result whether performed acoustically or full-on.

In short, the band is built around great music, not needless noise or empty show, and the players demonstrate a respect and enjoyment for these tunes from the first note forward. The set list is also designed to bring an audience into a fun and high-spirited experience, whether a listener wants to chill or mingle with this music as the soundtrack for an evening, or tear up the dance floor, or both!
