Two Guys In A Corner" bass and guitar duo is well suited to many different types of events. Corporate functions, cocktail hours, private parties, award ceremonies, house/dinner parties, employee parties, anniversary parties, engagement parties, reunions, milestone birthdays or any other special occasion! Our repertoire consists of jazz and R&B standards. We have no problem performing unobtrusively in the background. Promotional materials are available on the web, including audio samples, photos and etc. The bass player has performed with jazz greats like Dizzy Gillespie, Joe Williams and Clark Terry. The guitar player has a long history of working in Boston including performing with two different Boston Music Award winning groups. Both are Berklee College of Music Alumni with extensive music business resumes that also include composing music for national network TV shows! Influences

Carl has a wide variety of musical interests including rock, funk and jazz, with influences as far-reaching as KISS, Van Halen, Parliament-Funkadelic, and Miles Davis. Michael is also influenced by a wide variety of players including Carlos Santana, George Benson, John Scofield and Earl Klugh.

What to Expect

An audience member will be mesmerized by the seamless interaction between these two musicians. Both work full time in the music industry and have done so their entire careers. They know their instruments, music, and performing together. If the audience member happens to be a musician, they will undoubtedly be impressed by the overall skill level of the performance.

For the duo's services, the client will experience a professional attitude. They take pride in arriving with plenty of time to spare and are always prepared with their material. They are happy to be unobtrusive, if that is what the event calls for.

Stage/Setup Requirements:
Larger performances could require a PA to be provided.

Additional Notes:
When performing a smaller private function, sound is provided by the bass and guitar amplifers. No PA is used so there is no microphone availabe to the client.
