About
Robert A. Hornyak- (a.k.a.Sir Robert of Woodenbridge) has an extensive resume when it comes to trumpeteering. He started at "Medieval Times" Dinner and Tournament for over 5 years, in Lyndhurst N.J. During that time he had the opportunity to participate in the recording of a show with Gilbert Godfried; where he was one of the trumpeteers whose fanfares were taped. As time went on, Sir Robert was the trumpeteer for The N.J. Renaissance Festival for 6 years. He also performed at The N.Y. Renaissance Festival, and has freelanced at the Pa. and Maryland Ren. Faires. While performing at "The N.J. Ren. Faire , he had also worked with the likes of Robert Pallilo, better known as "Arnold Horshack" form "Welcome Back Kotter"; and "The Mayor of Munchkinville" from the original "Wizard of Oz" cast. Sir Robert was also the only "American" performer at "The largest Medieval Festival" in East Sussex England, where he appeared twice. Sir Robert had the honor of introducing "Les Paul" at a muisc convention in Raritan N.J.; as well as opening "A Royal Night of Comedy" at the N.J.P.A.C. in Newark N.J., where he introduced "Steve Harvey" "Sommore" and "John Gray". Sir Robert has also composed and performed fanfares for "Celedine" at "The George Street Playhouse" starring Amy Irving, in New Brunswick N.J. Last but not least, somewhere in the middle of his exploits, he also performed with "The American Bridal Show" for a few years. Huzzah!!!!!
