TransMission is a 4-piece classic rock cover band that plays over 100 songs and never fails to impress audiences with the very familiar and danceable song selection of hits that range from the 60’s all the way up to today’s current radio playlist.
TransMission is extremely professional in appearance, attitude, and the level of service that can be provided. The band is proud to be able to cater to any crowd, whether it is patrons in their 40’s and 50’s at Newport Grand Casino, all-ages festivals such as those at Patriot Place, or your small corporate function. TransMission can provide up to 6 hours of entertainment.
We can’t say enough about this awesome band at our Halloween party. The band sounds amazing! We will definitely book again. Thank you!
Transmission was booked for a fundraiser we had and totally made the night. They catered their music selection to our guests, took requests, and even let one of our attendees get on stage and play guitar for a few songs. They were super easy to book and work with. I recommend them for ANY event you may have. TWO THUMBS UP!! :) thanks guys!
[An excerpt from my thank you to Transmission]: Jason, thanks to you, Eddie, and Jim (Transmission) for an amazing evening. Leigh-Anne and I like to throw awesome parties for our special friends, and this one will go down as one of the best in very large part due to Transmission. Our friends had a great time...I can't count how many times people gave extremely positive accolades, and they absolutely loved the band (our deer friend Deepa, from India said it was "the mother of all parties"). Wow...that's all I can say...I continue to live the evening in my head. You three are awesome...thank you, thank you, thank you. In addition to being a great band, you allowed our friends to use your mics to sing and make talk from the heart...great fun. I hope CAPT Perry (the guy who sang "You Gotta Fight") will use you for parties next year after the new international class arrives. [End of excerpt]
If you're concerned about booking a rock cover band (as I was), rest assured Transmission performs. And what I found was the more my guest danced, the more energy came from the band--so rock on! Greg

Audiences and clients can expect the following:
*The band normally plays for 1 hour and then takes a 20-minute break. If the attendees are dancing and receptive, we try to cut our breaks to keep the momentum going!!!
*During the 20-minute break every hour, the band will play recorded music through the PA speakers to keep your guests entertained. If you have some CD's (mix CD's or particular artists) that you would like to supply, feel free to hand over at the event!
*The band normally arrives on location 2 hours before start time. This allows us enough time to prepare the sound equipment and address any issues that may arise.
*The band is normally on-location for about 45 minutes AFTER the performance ends to break down the equipment.
*The band requires one or two working/grounded electrical sockets.
*The band is more than HAPPY to take requests...if there are any songs you have in-mind, we'd be glad to see if we can perform/prepare for your event. (No guarantees, but we'll try!!!)
*The band is happy to serve as a 'karaoke' band for you or any guest that you approve as 'worthy' to sing in a public environment!!
*For outdoor events, the band requires either a non-refundable $150 deposit (in case of cancellation) -OR- the promise of a covered structure (tent/awning) for purposes of protecting equipment during inclement weather.
