REVIEW
We hired Tom to perform at a surprise 40th birthday party for my wife, and we were very happy with our choice. The performance was spot on, and Tom's interaction with the crowd was very at ease. He's also a genuinely nice guy. He even learned a new song, as a special request, at short notice. My mother in law, who is a huge ND fan, having seen him many times, was very impressed. I could go on, but suffice to say, I heartily recommend Tom, without reservation.

Influences

Neil Diamond may forever be known around the world as the man behind "Sweet Caroline" but the New Yorker's contribution to popular music runs much deeper. Diamond got his start in the 60's when a slew of famous recording artists started performing his songs. The Monkees turned Diamond's song "I'm a Believer" into a phenomenon, and catapulted Diamond into national notoriety. Before long, Diamond songs were being covered by music icons like Elvis Pressley and Barbra Streisand. Diamond would prove to be a compelling live performer in his own right. His classic 70's album, Hot August Night, showcased his mammoth stage presence and helped make him the revered pop star he is today. That album featured a multitude of singles, headlined by "Sweet Caroline." The smash hit proved to be Diamond's most indelible as singer-songwriter, and is still belted out today everywhere from sold-out stadiums to tiny karaoke bars.
