Ms. Tip Jones spoke to young students and families at my entrepreneurship club. She also was a panelist for an event I co-hosted for women entrepreneurs of color. She is passionate and invested in the success of people, especially women of color, pursuing, owning and running a successful business. Having the experience and tools as a business owner herself creates instant connection with her audience, and she is authentic. She is knowledgable and resourceful, and extremely engaging for audiences of all types.

What to expect
Nicknamed the "Idea Machine," Tip Jones is known for coming up with a laundry list of innovative concepts on the spot.
Expect your audience to be inspired to action! Tip will excite, uplift and maybe even shock them a bit as she holds no punches about what needs to be done for their ultimate goals to be achieved.
Laughs and tears are not uncommon when Tip speaks so prepare to pass the tissue box. She asks questions and encourages audience participation. They will leave with more than the "warm and fuzzies." The audience will depart with "actions steps" to champion their own success.
About
Tip Jones is a business coach and marketing consultant that has spent the last five years birthing new business ideas in the publishing, fashion and nonprofit industries. In 2008, she launched her flagship company The Consulting Studio, a boutique consulting firm exclusively for the woman-owned small business and aspiring entrepreneur. Under The Studio, she advises new and established companies on the formation of practical business models, brand development, and innovative marketing strategies, as well as conducting self-esteem and confidence workshops to better ensure entrepreneurial success.
Ms. Jones previously held dual positions as co-owner of BLUReverywhere, a chic line of denim accessories and handbags for the everyday woman, and Affiliate Director of The Plus Academy Charlotte, a plus-size modeling school for which she was chosen to bring to the Queen City.
While successfully organizing the first two semesters for The Plus Academy Charlotte, Ms. Jones used her fashion background and her love for celebrating others as a springboard to also launch POSE Magazine, the award-winning digital lifestyle publication for big and tall men and plus size women.
Expounding on the momentum of her successes, she is committed to inspiring "womenpreneurs" and aspiring entrepreneurs to 1. recognize and set their value, 2. launch their businesses with defined purpose, and 3. create legacies for their grandchildren's grandchildren.
Additional booking notes
A cordless microphone for Tip and another for the audience is preferred but she is flexible and will work with what is available.
She requires a seated, undistracted quiet audience. Tables are also preferred for easy notetaking.
If the setting is a theater, a chair and a spotlight will be required.
