Thunderstruck was formed in the spring of 2005. Getting the right musician’s was the key. This band consists of five talented musicians from N.E. Ohio with 3 of the members that formed and played in other AC/DC bands.
Thunderstruck is the most authentic tribute to the “LIVE AC/DC Experience”. Thunderstruck is very accurate in reproducing the Music and Stage Show of one of the greatest rock bands in the world, AC/DC
Freddy DeMarco - Freddy is an International Guitar Virtuoso & Product Specialist / Clinician for Marshall, Vox and Blackstar Amps. His energy and electrifying licks on his guitar are incredible. Freddy has performed with Steve Via, Jani Lane, Eric Norlander of Asia, Mike Keneally from Frank Zappa and other National Acts. Freddy owns DeMarco Studios and is an in-demand session player and has produced countless album projects including being Sherman Hemsley’s (George Jefferson) music director. Freddy is one “Bad Ass Angus”
Scotty “Stinger” Stenglein - on Vocals is a fantastic front man that knows how to work the crowd singing both . Bon and Brian. Scott has performed previously with Hell’s Bells but decided to find the very best musicians with Mideo & Steve to form the Ultimate AC/DC Tribute, which they accomplished with Thunderstruck!
Steve Papes - on Rhythm guitar is a rock. His heavy sturdy rhythm guitar chops are precise. Steve is a founding member of Bonfire. Steve is also a founding member of Thunderstruck and is the bands webmaster.
Mideo Octavio on Drums is amazing. His stadium size beats and precise timing is awesome. Mideo has gigged with Wicked Lester, 21 south and toured with JP Country. Mideo is a founding member and his commitment to the music keeps Thunderstruck Rockin’ at its best.
Mike Gatrell - Mike is a veteran on Bass, and was previously in the AC/DC Tribute, BonVoyage. His dedication, stage presence and solid riffs completes the band, and Mike is a great addition to complete the lineup

What to Expect

Typical Gig Duration: 90 - 160 minutes

Expect a full blown AC/DC Concert Experience performing the Bon Scott & Brian Johnson era's playing all your favorite hits. Be ready to rock, because the show is a recreation of the explosive power of AC/DC. There are other good AC/DC Tributes out there, but this is the closest thing to the real AC/DC with an elite international guitar virtuoso (Freddy DeMarco) as Angus that leaves the crowd with their draw dropping with his and the bands incredible performance.
