Excellent horsemanship lessons
I have attended many Women's Horsemanship Clinics at the farm and have enjoyed each one. The many aspects of the day make it truly a one-of-a-kind experience - even for beginners! The instruction is thorough and Laurie makes sure you're having fun too. We get to know many different horses and practice in the arena. But the real treat is riding the beautiful trails bordering the property. I've been there in all seasons and it just completes the ride being in such scenic countrysides. I've also seen wildlife up close as we ride the trails. I'm not sure if my favorite part is riding or the lunches Laurie creates! We always enjoy our lunch discussions to learn even more from her. If you have an interest in horses, this is the place to come & learn & grow & enjoy!

Our daughter's most memorable birthday party!
Laurie organized and carried out an amazing birthday pony party for our five year old daughter and her friends. She learned all of the eleven kids' names within the first half hour and toured them through so many great events including traditional birthday celebrations, horsemanship and of course, riding one of her horses. I had great e-mail contact with her for planning the event as well. Thanks for a memorable day!

Thistle and That Farm is a horsemanship barn specializing in On-site Pony Parties, Beginner & Advanced Beginner Horsemanship/Riding Clinics, After-School Horsemanship Programs, Summer Riding Camps, Mommy & Me Horsemanship Classes, Private Lessons, and more. We have two barns, an outdoor sand arena, trails, paddock, and fields. We have a wonderful selection of Riding Horses and Miniature Horses at our farm. We also have a lovely 2000 square foot farm store, The Collective, where vendors can rent space and sell their crafts, arts, or collections. We offer bedding annuals and perennials in season, as well as, farm fresh eggs, maple syrup, and veggies. Please call to inquire about our programs. We do not travel for gigs...we are on-site only.
