My passion is performing arts, specifically dance. The benefits of young people involved with dance are far reaching and most notably touch beyond the stage, into many other careers. For instance I was a professional dancer, police officer, business owner and teacher/choreographer/actor/stunt performer. Studying dance gave me perseverance, discipline, decision making, leadership abilities, multi-tasking, problem solving, motivation, organization, speaking skills, endurance…the list is long.

Thank goodness my first dance classes at Art Linkletter Totten came with student transportation. I was five years old and my mother did not drive. That service offered set me on track for a career as a ballerina, professional dancer, choreographer, teacher, actor, singer and stunt actor. Now I share my knowledge and talents by teaching Vaganova Technique ballet, jazz, pointe, tap, contemporary, Cunningham Modern, musical theatre, acting, event speaker, spokesperson, motivational speaker and coach. I just have to spread my live and the inspiring indulgence of the joy of movement. Everyone deserves to know how it feels to move to the beat of one’s heart and create art with the human body.
