Chris Creek was born and raised just outside of Austin,Texas "the live music capital of the world."Country music has been close to his heart since he went to his first concert at 4 years old and saw fellow Texas boy Don Williams performing in San Angelo,TX.Since then Chris has been playing and singing country music at every opportunity.
In the Early 90's Chris made it into his first band,running sound and lights,til he finally made it on stage playing guitar and singing in the dance halls and honky tonks all over Texas. He moved out to California in 2000,and got away from the stage for awhile to raise a family.
In 2011 Chris made the decision to bring some of that Texas influence to central California,with a newly formed but very experienced band,The Chris Creek Band is already starting to raise some eyebrows,and is looking forward to providing Central California with great country music for years to come.
2012 has been a great year.With over 35 shows in the books and counting The Chris Creek band is quickly becoming known for quality traditional country music,and has just recently been the opening act for Justin Moore,Kip Moore,and Eric Church.
