Tee Tee, born Lawtisha Williams, began singing at the very young age of 3. Church and school choirs were the avenues where she sharpened her vocal skills as she was growing up. Her musical influences can be attributed to: Patti LaBelle, Donny Hathaway, Sylvia Robinson, James Brown, Coultrain of the Hawthorn Headhunters, and Cee-lo Green among others.
Tee Tee fell in love with Soul Music, Jazz, and Blues as a young woman. As time progressed she began to perform throughout the open mic scene in Cleveland, Ohio. Those performances gained the young vocalist recognition, as well as a fan base.
